Entertainment Media requires a complete knowledge of the material that captures the audience‚Äôs attention, influences culture, as well as providing fun and entertainment to consumers of mass media.  This course is designed to analyse the nature, types, and contexts of production of entertainment events.  There will be exploration of the ethical dimensions, the language nuances, the economic and social aspects and the effects of entertainment in the mass media and other means of communication.  Students will examine and study the multiple genres for the content of entertainment media with special focus on reality TV, comedy, gaming, talk show, and soap opera.
